You want to use multiple forms of monetization to get the most out of your blog. One way to monetize a blog and make money at home is to use contextual advertising or any of the many other alternatives. These are advertisements that other webmasters develop and pay for to get traffic to their sites. Another way to make money online is affiliate marketing. This is done by bringing potential buyers and the products they are seeking together. If your blog is about building electronics, then find online electronic component supply stores and become affiliates for them. Then you can place their ads on your site and make even more income from every click. However, in affiliate marketing, you do not get paid per click in most cases, but rather you are paid every time someone goes to their site and makes a purchase. There are many other ways to make money online too depending on what your needs are. You can become a content writer, a webmaster for a community website or even a full-blown affiliate marketer. In the end though, the amount that you will be able to make working from home will depend on the amount of effort that you are willing to give in order to make it work.
