It's hard to believe just how many places have tile. Bathrooms come to mind immediately, but then so do kitchen areas, spas, foyers, reception areas, hallways and the list keeps going. And it is difficult to believe, but a tile floor can actually be dirtier than carpet. Mopping and waxing tile floors would seem to be enough, but the worst dirt in tile can't be cleaned by mopping. Not only that, but some of the chemicals used to clean tiles can actually break down the grout between the tiles, leaving the tile loose, leaving proprietors liable if someone were to fall because of a loose or missing tile.
