Commercial window cleaning services are offered at various levels of cleanliness. There are companies offer services for the perfect clean window and every part gets washed, while other companies offer a basic wash. The levels of cleanliness include an average of three; a basic wash, the basic plus a little more, and an ultra-clean. Companies have professional staff that either clean all the windows by hand or with the use of power washers. All the equipment is the responsibility of the window cleaning company.

The brief descriptions below will provide insight as to the difference between each type of cleaning offered.

Window Washing- This process involves the use of soap and water, it will include either inside and outside or just the outside portion. A simple wash is the cheapest form of window cleaning commercially offered. Some companies prefer to use a foam method of washing instead of water, to avoid dripping associated with watery solutions. Many companies use rubber squeegees for removal of excess water, to avoid streaking, before towel-drying.

Level II: Basic Plus Extras- When construction has been completed, windows usually collect all the dust and debris that comes along with the job. This level up from a basic wash will get rid of that debris on the windows. Debris, such as dried paint or plaster, will be scraped off with a razor blade and/or scrubbed with an abrasive.

The Ultra Clean- An ultra clean service is the whole nine yards, including the vacuuming of frame and sill. There is removal of construction debris, such as; caulking, plaster, paint, and mortar. Cleaning of window screens and tracks are sometimes also added into this level. The final part includes washing the entire window and sill.

Ultra Cleaning- This final level of clean is the ultimate type, for those windows that have been neglected all season long and are becoming opaque. Removal of construction debris, if needed, is performed, then cleaning of panes, sills, and frames is completed. Many companies will also clean tracks and screens, as well as dry the entire window with chamois.

Commercial window cleaning comes on a variety of levels, each one made to suit the business or home owner. These services can also be schedule on a weekly, monthly, yearly, or made to fit any personal agenda.
