A Cincinnati commercial plumber is the professional responsible for maintaining water supply systems, sewerage systems, and other huge scale projects on commercial level. He doesn't work on small projects such as examining the pipelines of a household and the like. He picks bigger projects such as fixing and maintaining the water supply lines in an area or a town.

Linemen do work on smaller projects as well such as repairing pipelines in the house or maintaining its sewerage lines. They initially have to make sure that the area they are working in or the project they are working has correct water supply. If it is a shopping mall or a newly built apartment they are meant for installing pipelines in, they have to make certain that the area has proper pipelines installed through which they can attach the new pipelines.

Once the research has been done, they have to dig trenches and place pipelines which connect them to the central pipes and the sewerage mechanism of the area. In order to do this type of work the linemen need to have licenses. The government of the locality needs to make sure that the job is being handled by professionals. Even the minor mistake in placing these pipelines can mix up both of them, an issue which will result in contaminating the water.

Once the outer area has been fixed with the necessary pipelines, they then are required to repair the lines of the building or the shopping mall. Pipelines need to be in the toilets, kitchens and other places of each floor. Such deals are large scale projects, therefore multiple workers work on them at the same time. These projects can't be performed by any other person except for the experienced and well practiced ones.

Usually, they are hired and are kept in contract for a long duration of time by the project initiators which are needed to maintain the water lines and the sewerage. In case an emergency happens, they are also required to rush to the project location and fix the problem.

From time to time, they are required to grease the pipes, fix necessary locatios to keep the pipes away from breakage, and perform other related functions. All these are the duties of linemen who need to accomplish them well or else their licenses can be void.
