Most of the times, we consider that we have not chosen a right product but then we find a large number of manufacturers who deal in the same product and are far successful in selling the same product. There are several points affecting the sales of your business. The first thing is the quality of your products. If you are not manufacturing good quality products, how can you expect them selling well?

In wholesale business, it is not always the product” that creates problem. Selling products is all about marketing them effectively. It means if you are good enough in marketing your products, you have maximum chances to sell that product. There are a number of channels available to advertise your products and sell it ahead. However, most of the wholesalers and manufacturers choose online channels to advertise their products and forget that there are several other channels available. One of the most effective methods is classifieds.

Pick up any newspaper, whether it is trade magazine, or daily newspaper, there are ads both large and small called classifieds. Have you ever thought to advertise through these classifieds? These classifieds act like same advertisements as you do on internet and TV. Everyone knows it is an old practice, which seems to be obsolete, but it is still an effective way to reach customers who do not have internet access. All that you need is to pay a particular price for the classifieds. It is not so expensive but it requires you to be creative in writing a message to say the most in the least available space. Trade magazines are very excellent option but choose them carefully.

The cost of a classified ad is not so high and if you make few purchases through it, you can cover that cost easily. It is because newspaper readers are mostly willing to pay more as compared to internet audience. Set your payment mode according to the target market as most of them will pay through credit or debit cards. You must have a proficient team of customer service representatives who can take orders through phone calls and fax.

It is not advisable to daily publish your ad in a newspaper, even it is not recommended to slick every newspaper and monthly trade magazine. There are hundreds and thousands of publications that go unnoticed. Look at yourself, most of the times you thoroughly read the newspaper inner pages on Saturday or Sunday morning. Go for the Sunday classifieds or publish your ad in a trade magazine.

Tabloids are very pricey options to get an ad published over there but they have larger circulation and usually have audience who want to read classified ads. Special editions of trade magazines can be another good option for manufacturers to advertise your products. Look at the bright side, if car dealers can earn a big portion of their earning from classifieds why not manufacturers can?
