It s also possible to accept gift cards, pre-paid cards and more if you have the right merchant services provider. These days, it s imperative to accept as many forms of payment as possible. What hours are the customer service representatives available? Do they offer the latest and greatest equipment? Are their contract details clearly outlined? Is there a dedicated rep who will handle your business? What hours are they available?

Sure, that s a lot of questions, but this is your money we re talking about. If you don t protect it wisely, then you can kiss your precious retail business goodbye. You ve come way too far to let something this important get in the way of your success. If you need to ask dozens of questions, then so be it.

You simply have to know what you re looking for, and make sure you are not getting gouged. Again, this is why it s important to be educated, and enlist the assistance of someone more knowledgeable, if necessary.
