Back in the day, aspiring authors hoped to have a book published, get a big advance, and become a best selling author. But that's old school! Now you can build your own publishing empire since the birth of digital printing and self-publishing businesses. In fact that has changed the whole playing field. Now you don't need the andquot;big boysandquot; to establish yourself as a credible expert or profitable author. Even non-writers are getting in on the action!
If you know how to write simple articles that are filled with information that potential prospects in your market would love to read, then you have the serious potential to build a real information-based publishing empire. One that brings your profits and I'm going to show you step by step how it's done.
I've built this information publishing pyramid to show how you can create products and offer them for free to thousands of dollars -- all from articles. As your customers follow this info pyramid, your publishing empire will grow, and your income will increase.

Product 1 - Write an ezine or newsletter.

Offer a simple one page electronic newsletter on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and center it around information in your niche. This is important to get right, because subscribers will probably decide whether or not they will want to buy from you based on the quality of the information you provide in this newsletter.

Product 2 - Write a traditional book

Believe it or not, there is not a lot of money in publishing a print book. Maybe for Harry Potter and Twilight authors or President Barack Obama, but not for most. But what a print book can still do for you is provide credibility. Don't panic though - you can create a great book using articles.

Product 3 - Write an ebook or ecourse

Writing an ebook comes next in our info-publishing pyramid, because you can charge more for the information - than you can a traditional book.

Product 4 - Home Study System

Take some of your articles, ebook content, audios and/or videos and compile them together in an easy-to-understand system. If your readers have bought your last two products, they are probably very interested in learning more from you and working with you. Great thing - is that you build this entire program using content that you may already have plus a few things you may want to add or that others in your field have contributed.

Product 5 - Membership Program

All memberships sites or programs are based around information and content. You just are delivering it in spoon-fed doses and holding members' hands as they move through the program. It's a great way to learn and a great way to build a community of andquot;fansandquot; who are all interested in learning all that you know about your field.

Product 6 - Live Workshops

I just love live events! That's because I love getting tons of content in a live setting where I have the opportunity to ask the coach questions. This is what many of your devoted students or clients will eventually want from you. A chance to really dig into the content you have in a face-to-face setting. Again - all you are doing is taking your existing content and delivering it in another way.

*Optional Product - Specialized Coaching

As an information publisher, you can create information packed or curriculum based coaching programs for your clients. Instead of working with the clients one on one, you can group coach several clients and coach them through a series of lessons that you create.

As a back-end product, you have the option of selling a hard copy of that curriculum once you no longer provide coaching around that particular topic in your marketplace.

Finally while you may not be able to create and deliver all of these product ideas in 90 days (probably depending on how much content you already have written), you can absolutely design your publishing outline based on how many articles you can commit to writing in the next few months.

**Remember that all of these products can be created from articles that you have already written and even published - cool huh!
