You want the inventory you have in them to move quickly so you can refill them and generate as much of a profit as possible. If you aren't sure if a particular item is going to work well in your vending machine you may want to try it for a week. See how quickly the items sell out so that you can decide to restock them or to replace them. Don't keep items in your vending machines that don't sell well because that is going to reduce the amount of profit you earn from your business.
