Don't let yourself be repetitive or boring. It is alright to repeat the key parts of your speech, but don't do it ad nauseum. All this does it help make your audience stop listening to you.

Don't read your speech. The purpose of motivational speaking is to interact with your target audience. If you read your talk then you will end up speaking in a monotone and failing to make eye contact with the target audience.

Motivational speaking is an art. It is not easy to be an excellent motivational speaker. Even the most natural, charismatic person might have trouble speaking in front of large crowds in the beginning. It does take some getting used to.

If you apply the do's and don'ts layed out then you should be able to give a great talk. As time passes, you will be able to give a great speech.
