An energy inspector would have to undergo some practical training session to become a certified domestic energy assessor. There is also a provision of having one-day workshops split into smaller groups. This workshop also involves one-day long practical visits for home assessment of energy. Through the training sessions, candidates learn to identify the various elements of construction and to understand their description. The job of such an energy inspector is to assess the health risks and safety of property and its occupants.
