Getting the right degrees and training specially needed for any of these OB GYN jobs is not an easy thing. You will be able to show expectant mothers their baby's, let them listen to heartbeats and give the doctor insight into the babies overall health through the trimesters. Sound waves are the only thing used to make this as safe for mother and baby as possible.

Many other sonograms may be needed for hearts, gallbladders, livers etc. The career of midwife lets you be hands on with the delivery and labor of newborns. You have to a certified registered nurse and then take specialized training in the obstetric field, but it is all worth the hard work when you see that wonderful miracle of life happen and you are a part of it. Patients will always need medical care and women will always need reproductive, breast and prevention care. This is the perfect field to be in right now and for many years to come. As an Obstetrician not only will you be involved in the treatment of minor ailments but also severe ones as well.

Cancer in the breast and reproductive organs is on the increase of women nationwide and their is a great need for understanding doctors to help them with the newest safest forms of treatment for these diseases. You have a lot of work ahead of you to begin these careers you will need no less than a four year degree from college and medical college as well as residency and internships at hospitals and clinics for a period of at least four years if not more. This is one thing that only you can determine is right for you.

Think of all the excitement and joy of walking in to your own office or clinic for the first time then you will know it was the right career choice for you. The great news is that growth of OB GYN jobs and other medical related jobs are expected to be at least 15 percent more through the present year until the year of 2015. This means that all industries of health-care will be growing expediently.
