If you want to make a huge success of your plumbing business, like many people already have, you will need to choose a plumbing course which suits you and offers you the best value for money.

If you really want to become a plumber, and a successful one, you will need to learn a large variety of skills. Indeed, any kind of self employment requires a wider range of knowledge than working for larger companies. You may, of course, want the security of working for a larger company, in which case, you will need less information about self employment.

Remember, the world's best plumber may not make the world's best plumbing tutor. If you want to become a plumber, you will have to pick a course that suits you. This may include small modules on tax, self employment and insurance.

Support after the course is hugely important too. Don't forget that when you finally do become a plumber, you won't instantly be the best at it. You will need a considerate tutor or company that will support you and answer any questions that may arise once you have your certificate of competence.
