If being outdoors is a source of pleasure, seek out law enforcement careers that allow individuals to work in nature. Park rangers work in scenic national parks and historical sites throughout the United States. Park rangers are members of law enforcement who enforce federal and park laws. Some rangers may also participate in search and rescue or emergency medical situations.

Canine officers and animal cruelty investigators are for people who enjoy working with animals. Canine officers work with a canine rather than a human partner.
