Essentially, a promotional product is nothing but any day-to-day product which has a certain brand or logo attached to it. When you see the same logo on the many of the plastic containers on railway stations, for example, you automatically associate the brand with the product and build an unconscious connection. So the next time you feel like having a soft drinks and see a plastic cup, you immediately think of coca cola, without any conscious effort from your side. This is a good example to demonstrate how companies use promotional products to advertise their brand names.
Managing a business is already quite complex and daunting task and thus companies need to rely on promotional products for increasing the brand awareness among the consumers. One just needs to know exactly what type of promotional product is suitable for their business. A sports company might choose a product which is linked with sports whole those dealing with computer hardware and software should look for promotional products in the form of desktop related accessories. This includes such simple things as mouse mats, paperweights and even pencil holder. One always has the option of further customizing a particular promotional product to suit their requirements.  Things that are used on a daily basis are thus the best used promotional products. The only purpose of using promotional products is to increase the brand awareness among customers and by using products which are used too frequently, one ensures their company name and logo gets maximum exposure and longevity. The more people are aware of your brand, more likely they will purchase your products.
