For many years, motorcycles have become the primary means of transportation with in many countries. Because of their price and reliability in comparison to larger vehicles, motorcycle usage is very high in those nations with young or underdeveloped economies. But for many motorcycle riders, their ownership goes beyond merely needing a well built yet inexpensive vehicle. These rider and their gear - their specialized clothing, helmets and motorcycle helmet bags - represent the most enthusiastic of motorcycle owners. Simply put: for many riders, motorcycle ownership and riding is a way of life!

Motorcycles have a great history that includes many myths and subcultures that have become lifestyles for many. Of course, it would be neglectful to not mention the illegal motorcycle groups; but these are a fraction of all clubs dedicated to bikers. Some of these bikers ride in illegal racing tournaments, or create havoc via traffic violations or other deliberate 'minor' offenses.

The lady bikers will not be left behind, too, as they form their own motorcycling lifestyles and subcultures, bringing with them their own feminine types of helmets, helmet bags, more shapely jackets, sexier pants and boots, and the range of motorcycle accessories that they wanted feminized. Whether these groups are close-knit or loosely organized, the kind of subculture they bring that is unique to the motorcycle riding enthusiasts will always liven up the mystery and myth behind the motorcycles and their riders.
