Even if it's considered to be the least safe way of transport, the car has obviously become a necessity. There will always be problems regarding gas costs, parking spaces, traffic blockages, but that doesn't stop anyone from using the vehicle. As opposed to the past generations, when busses and subways were the most popular way when moving around the city, the present clearly shows as that the car won the so-called battle, being extremely fast and especially practical. The teenage years are one of the most important years in one's life and definitely the most important as regarding the shaping of his personality. It's the time when he starts thinking like a full grown person, when he starts to face the real problems life gives people. At 16 years old a teenager can own a driver's license, the age depending on the state from which he is. An adult undertaking, as driving is considered to be, presents itself from rather early in life. Before actually owning a car, a teenager must realize that by breaking the rules of traffic, it's not only his life that he puts in danger, but also the life of others. A car is not a toy and the road is certainly not a playground for it. It's a very serious matter and should be treated as such, regardless of age, but especially by beginners. Experience is the keyword here, which only comes with exercise, which is driving as much as possible. Every new driver goes through driving school, a very important period which forms and teaches him the basics. The real experience is driving on the public roads or on the highway. Beginners should always have a person sitting next to them in the car, at least for a short period at first, in order to assist them and explain them eventual mistakes they do while on the road. The moment the teenager realizes he starts to get those driving reflexes every driver has to have is the moment when he is prepared to own a car. The age circles around 18 years old, maybe more, depending on the age the actual driving experience started. At the beginning of the driving experience, one of the best solutions available is renting or leasing. Van leasing offers you the control of a vehicle for a period of time stipulated in the contract and you only have to pay for the time you actually hold control over it. It's a perfect way to give teenagers the chance to learn the basics of driving, also giving them the responsibility of driving a vehicle that they don't actually own. Simply put, there is no perfect age for a teenager to have a car. It's just a matter of experience and trust, which varies from family to family. Some decide it's better to buy a car for their child as quickly as possible, other think that a certain time must pass before giving them such responsibility. The truth is, of course, in between them.
