The 1980 year was filled with corvette and was considered as the survivor of the old days. These days' automobiles like chrvettes and pintos rule the world; yet, corvette was something memorable for the automobile owners back then. It always reminded that in those days the corvette had no room to stay. The people then never preferred vehicles like the corvette. It had wonderful exteriors though just like that of the sports auto and also had good mileage and efficiency in the fuel usage.

The car corvette was used during the period 1950- 1980. The automobiles of this generation did not undergo many changes. Later during 1980, the engine sizes were altered. The first change was done by Shinoda.

The famous type was the coupe. First it was offered only since the coupe. However the convertable version of this auto was discontinued around 1975. It had a great sports car with two seats but all of these had poor performance. There was certain feature which was provided with the car. They are wheel with the steering, power windows, air conditioners. There are few which was according to the choice and wish with the owner. These include power locks of the doors, removable panels of the roof, shock absorbers, speakers, radio players, carriers with the panel etc.

In United states of america, all the states had a particular spec of 350 volume rated engine. While only California had 305 inches. The 350 one had aluminium manifold. While the California's 305 had an exhaust manifold created from stainless steel. The power of 350 was 190 hp and that of 305 was 180 hp. Although the model was not initially doing well in sales after making few modifications the sales increased. These modifications included reducing its weight especially in the doors and the hoods were made thinner. Materials having lesser density was chosen to build roof panels. The overall performance of the car improved such that in 7 seconds 60 miles per hour was reached

Getting luxurious cars is not very tough. But the most important part is the maintenance of it. One has to realize that proper working of any system will require the correct maintenance of it. For this you should have proper knowledge about the things you possess. Owning a auto is also similar. It not only requires talent to drive, but also the patience to maintain it. To maintain and safe guard an old automobile for its memory also is a great talent which many do not have.
