Toshiba televisions have set the bar high. It's easy to be the best once, but to continue to outdo yourself takes true dedication. This means that while the plans for the Cell Regza are being unfolded, you can guarantee they have already begun work on what will blow that technology out of the water.

Well, they aren't even what they were like ten years ago. Bulky, large televisions are being replaced with slimmer and sleeker models with impeccable visual qualities. Until now televisions could not give you the feeling of being part of what you are watching, but with advancements through high definition television, people are seeing things as they never have before. Some pioneers and leaders in the field are the people behind Toshiba products, and you will find that Toshiba televisions are worth a second glance.

But before you run down to Target or wherever and get a new television, you should have a pretty good idea of what it is you are aiming to get.

If you have a general idea of the technical specifications, size and price range you are looking at, you can save yourself a lot of trouble in the long run.

One of the interesting things about Toshiba televisions is their commitment to making something that everyone can enjoy. Since everyone doesn't share in my dream of having a 50"+ television in their living room, offering a variety of sizes was an obvious wise business decision. But more than most television companies, Toshiba takes their LCD TVs to as small as 15" to as big as 57", which offers an incredible amount of wiggle room for someone to find the perfect size for their needs.

High definition TVs are more expensive than standard ones, there is no getting around that fact or sugar coating it. But with a price range from as low as $250, more people are able to get one in their homes and appreciate the vast difference of high definition.

But if you want to talk Toshiba televisions, you have to mention the breakthroughs they continue to make for the consumer. For instance, the Cell Regza, which is slated to be released in the US sometime in 2010, features the same chip that makes the Playstation 3 so powerful. This chip has the means to simultaneously record eight HD programs to be recorded to the incredibly large (Over a TB) internal storage space.
