Digital photography school teaches you everything you need about being a Professional Digital Photographer. They teach you, also, the right equipment to use for the right conditions. Another subject they will teach you about is how to set up your photo exhibits. They will cover every aspect on how to present and sell your photo art.Choosing a theme should be easy. If you shoot nature shots, then use a nature theme, if you shoot still life photos; make your theme around still life. For example, if you are exhibiting shots of nature, you might want to use an outside area, near public access, but surrounded by nature, to display your photos. Choose the shots you think are the best. Put them in frames that compliment them before you display them.If this is your first exhibit, you will want to choose a small area and display to start with. Whether you have chosen a private hall, mall, museum, or gallery, follow any rules they have as far as hanging and displaying your photos. The venue you choose should be large enough to easily display your work, comfortable and in a location that will draw people.Sponsors are very important. They will set you up with the place to display your art, help with the advertising and invite important photographic art enthusiasts. If you aren't sure where to start, and you took photography classes in San Francisco, check with administration to see if they have a list of known sponsors. Research other exhibits to see who sponsored those.Supplies are important. Frames, printed programs, printed copies of photos, display equipment and comfortable surroundings for guests will make the showing a pleasure to attend. Look for a company or studio that will supply, at wholesale prices, all of the items you will need. You don't want to use cheap frames, generic programs and plain display pieces. You will want everything to compliment your work.Promotion and marketing of your exhibit is so important. If you don't let the public know where and when the exhibit is, they will not know to attend. Many people of social standing have a great interest in all the arts. Some of them may be willing to back you with funding, advertise the event, and invite the right people to your exhibit.
