Promotion of a band was very difficult previously, but nowadays it has become very easy with the use of iphone app, using which people can record their riffs or songs and spread it all over the country. Other iphone users find these uploaded songs in their music app of iphone, listen to them and give ratings accordingly. The most rated songs or music riffs get superior rank and are more likely to be noticed by the other listeners. Due to this easy method of music promotion, many talented musicians have come to the limelight. But this music app is helpful only if the music is good and liked by audience. Without the support of the audience, it is impossible to get success; and to win people s heart you need to compose goof music.

Apart from this method of music promotion, there are other ways also. But, those ways are not as easy and effective as this one. Some of the other ways are uploading songs or riffs in you personal website or in your account in any social networking website, but there is no surety whether others will visit your website or not. You can also distribute your music CDs to others, but that would cost a lot.

In earlier times, solo artists or bands had to sign up with music production companies to let people know about their music. It was very hard as the companies often refused to publish songs of the unknown bands. Due to this many talented singers and musicians got lost in the crowd of others.
